News: Regehr (undisclosed) will return to action Saturday against the Ducks, NHL.com's Curtis Zupke reports. Impact: The blueliner missed the Kings' previous three games with the injury but was cleared to play after practicing the previous two days. Regehr's return couldn't come at a better time after Alec Martinez was ruled out indefinitely following finger surgery, which would have left the Kings with five active defensemen if Regehr hadn't been available.(RotoWire, )

News: Regehr (undisclosed) was on the ice for practice Friday, Jon Rosen of LAKingsInsider.com reports. Impact: Regehr skated with the full group for the first time, but practiced for the second straight day. He hinted that "it was only an undisclosed injury. Those ones are usually pretty quick." This could indicate that he expects to be back for Saturday's contest against the Ducks.(RotoWire, )

News: Regehr (undisclosed) skated Thursday morning, Jon Rosen of LAKingsInsider.com reports. Impact: The Kings held an optional morning session following Wednesday's grueling shootout defeat against the Ducks, so it's not certain if Regehr will be cleared to return to action. It seems more likely than not that he'll sit out his third straight game, though, since he hadn't practiced with the team since suffering the injury last week. Regehr said that he first sustained the injury when he got tangled up with Mikhail Grabovski during his final shift of the game against the Islanders on Nov. 6.(RotoWire, )
