This was his second 38-save performance of the season. "He was an NHL goalie," coach Paul MacLean said. News: Lehner threw down a 38-save win over the Blue Jackets on Saturday night. Impact: The game ended 3-2 and Lehner was a huge part of that effort. He made a number of great saves, including one where he managed to get his stick down on the goal line to prevent what looked like a sure goal. Lehner and Craig Anderson will soon be in a straight platoon with efforts like this. And soon, Lehner will assume the reins. He's been that good. Stash him away.(RotoWire, )

News: Lehner will be in the crease Saturday against the Lightning, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reports. Impact: Lehner turned in a rather tepid preseason with a 2.62 GAA and .900 save percentage over four outings, but he'll still remain a factor in the Ottawa goaltending situation throughout the season. Though the Senators extended Craig Anderson in the offseason, he doesn't have an especially tight grip on those duties after a steep decline in his performance last season. That being said, the Lightning appear to be about as strong as any squad in the Eastern Conference, which could make Lehner's fantasy owners justifiably gun-shy about using him Saturday.(RotoWire, )
