News: St. Louis scored his first goal of the season in a 4-0 win over the Sharks on Sunday. Impact: This was just his second as a Blueshirt, as Marty managed just one goal in 19 regular-season games with the Rangers last year. He still managed to end up with 30 goals on the season, though, and should be one of the better scorers in the league again this year.(RotoWire, )

News: St. Louis practiced on the wing on Saturday, reports Andrew Gross of The Record. Impact: St. Louis skated with Mats Zuccarello and center Derick Brassard on the team's first even strength unit. Not only does it appear the experiment with MSL at center is over (for now), but head coach Alain Vigneault is going to continually adjust his lines and depth charts until he finds the right combination for this team. With the move back to his natural right wing, it's possible owners of the 39-year-old St. Louis (four points, six SOG) could see an improvement in offensive contributions.(RotoWire, )

News: St. Louis was credited with two assists in Thursday's win at St. Louis. Impact: St. Louis' 39 assists in 2013-14 marked his fewest in eight seasons, so fantasy owners were happy to see him open things with a couple of points.(STATS, 4:25pm)

News: St. Louis picked up a pair of assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating Thursday against the Blues. Impact: The only thing keeping him from his first goal of the year and a three-point night was the crossbar. Marty didn't do a whole lot offensively for the Rangers after coming over at the deadline last season, but his offensive skills didn't magically disappear. If you got him at a discount on draft day, consider yourself lucky.(RotoWire, )
