News: Harding (broken foot) has been suspended by the Wild after suffering a broken right foot while kicking a wall following an off-ice altercation with a teammate, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Impact: He won't be paid a prorated portion of his $2.1 million salary and won't count against the Wild's salary cap while suspended. Harding is expected to miss at least two to three months with the broken foot, and it's assumed his suspension will end when he's healthy.(RotoWire, )

News: Harding broke his right foot while kicking a wall after an off-ice altercation with a teammate and is expected to miss at least two or three months, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Impact: The Star Tribune also suggests it's possible the Wild could suspend Harding for the incident. The team previously suspended forward James Sheppard for an off-ice ATV accident in 2012 that resulted in a season-ending knee injury.Even without the injury, Harding's battles with multiple sclerosis have limited him to just 34 regular-season games the past two years, so he can't be counted on to play many games in the 2014-15 season.(RotoWire, )

News: Harding has a broken right foot, putting him out indefinitely. The Wild announced Wednesday the injury was suffered in an off-ice incident. The team said Harding was hurt Sunday but did not specify how. Impact: Harding will not need surgery, but with training camp starting Friday and the opener Oct. 9 the Wild's tenuous depth in the net is a concern. Veteran Niklas Backstrom has returned after midsection injuries kept him out of action after January. But restricted free agent Darcy Kuemper has not yet been signed.(STATS, 5:14pm)

News: Harding has been ruled out indefinitely with a fractured right foot sustained in an off-ice incident Sept. 14. Impact: Harding will be able to avoid surgery on the foot, but the injury more than likely dashes his chances of playing in the Wild's season opener. More details surrounding the nature of Harding's injury should become available in the coming days, but expect his stock to fall considerably in drafts as the season approaches. Harding already came with plenty of built-in health risk due to his complications with multiple sclerosis that have prematurely ended each of his last two seasons, so the injury only further damages his standing. Look for either Niklas Backstrom, Darcy Kuemper or perhaps a currently unsigned goalie to compete for No. 1 duties in training camp.(RotoWire, )

News: Wild GM Chuck Fletcher categorized the foot and ankle injury that Harding sustained earlier this week as "not short term," Chad Graff of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports. Impact: The Wild are only ruling Harding out for the start of the team's training camp for now, but it seems a likely bet that he won't be available for the team's Oct. 9 regular-season opener against the Avalanche. The injury puts the Wild in a bit of a bind, as Niklas Backstrom will enter camp as the team's only NHL-ready goalie, with Darcy Kuemper continuing to negotiate a new contract with the Wild. Once healthy, Harding figures to factor into the mix for No. 1 duties, but the missed action during training camp may prove damaging to his chances.(RotoWire, )

News: Harding has been sidelined by an ankle injury, Michael Russo of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Impact: Harding was set to enter training camp at full health after missing the second half of last season due to a change in his medication for multiple sclerosis, but it appears the snake-bitten goalie has been dealt another setback. The team won't have an update on Harding's expected timetable until he visits with the team's orthopedic surgeon Wednesday, but it's generally believed that he will miss the beginning of training camp, if not longer. Harding was in the midst of a sensational season prior to succumbing to another complication from MS last December, and was thought to be a frontrunner to claim the No. 1 goalie job in camp. If he ends up missing the start of the regular season, either Darcy Kuemper or Niklas Backstrom would be called upon to assume starting duties.(RotoWire, )
