News: Iginla had a goal and an assist in Saturday's win over the Hurricanes. Impact: The second line of Iginla, Nathan MacKinnon, and Gabriel Landeskog was flying Saturday, combining for seven points in the victory. Iginla has produced a lowly 12 points (three goals) in 21 games this season, putting him on pace to not even reach the 50-point mark. What's most disappointing is Iginla is also on pace to post the lowest goal total of his 18-season NHL career. While he might have struggled this season, his excellent play Saturday could be sign of things to come. He may be 37 years old, but with two budding youngsters on his line, Iginla is getting the opportunity to pile up some points. He's due to start producing more.(RotoWire, )

News: Iginla said he believes his struggles this season are because of his mental game, not physical, the Denver Post reports. Impact: "Sometimes, I get watching the play and thinking too much, and then I stop moving," Iginla said. "I need to get moving and doing a little less thinking. You always want to be thinking, but I need to do more moving, be physical, be intense, be good along the wall and in front of the net." Iginla plays on a line with Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog, so he should have plenty of chances to end his slump.(RotoWire, )
