News: Lundqvist will be in the crease Saturday against the Flyers. Impact: Coach Alain Vigneault will save Lundqvist for the home half of the Rangers' back-to-back set with the Flyers, as backup Cam Talbot gets the call for Friday's match in Philadelphia. Lundqvist has yet to find much consistency over the first two months, as he's tied for the league lead with four shutouts yet finds himself with a rather middling 2.60 GAA and .911 save percentage for the season.(RotoWire, )

News: Lundqvist made 25 saves on 29 shots in a loss to the Lightning on Wednesday. Impact: It's been a rough patch for Lundqvist, who has four losses in his last five starts. He does have a shutout in that other game, but it was sandwiched in between two games where he let in nine goals total. However, he had his struggles last year and still had an excellent season, and his four shutouts show how good he can be when he's on the top of his game.(RotoWire, )

News: Lundqvist is set to man the net Wednesday against the Lightning, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports. Impact: Lundqvist will return to the net after posting his fourth shutout of the season his last time out against the Canadiens, tying the Penguins' Marc-Andre Fleury for the league lead in the category. The Bolts are expected to counter with Ben Bishop in goal, pitting two of the NHL's better netminders against one another.(RotoWire, )

News: Lundqvist stopped 21 shots for his fourth shutout Sunday. Impact: This was a nice bounce back after he was hammered in a 5-1 loss to Tampa Bay last Monday.(STATS, 1:15pm)
Nov 23, 2014
News: Lundqvist picked up his fourth shutout of the year in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Canadiens. Impact: The win snapped Lundqvist's three game losing streak, as he improved to 8-5-3. The shutout, the 54th of his career, moves Lundqvist into a three-way tie with Eddie Giacomin and Bernie Parent for 20th on the NHL's all-time list. He hasn't had his best start to a season, but he was able to improve both his GAA and SV% as they now stand at 2.51 and .914 respectively.(RotoWire, )

News: Lundqvist will make the start in goal Sunday versus the Canadiens, Steve Zipay of Newsday reports. Impact: Lundqvist's last start in Montreal won't retrigger many happy memories; he was pulled early in the Rangers' Game 5 loss in the Eastern Conference Finals after surrendering four goals on 19 shots. At any rate, a world-class netminder like Lundqvist probably won't be mentally affected by his previous struggles in a given venue, nor his poor showing his last time out against the Lightning. He should continue to gradually trim down his 2.68 GAA as the season progresses, though that improvement might not necessarily begin Sunday.(RotoWire, )

News: Lundqvist will not start Friday after the Rangers' scheduled game against the Sabres was postponed due to the extreme weather conditions in the Buffalo region, Andrew Gross of the Bergen Record reports. Impact: Alain Vigneault announced that Lundqvist would get the start against the Sabres after the Rangers completed their practice Thursday, but the NHL announced the game would be postponed shortly thereafter. No make-up date has been announced yet for the game, but look for Lundqvist to man the net for the Rangers in their next game Sunday against the Canadiens.(RotoWire, )

News: Lundqvist will not start Wednesday against the Flyers. Impact: Lundqvist has had a rough go of it of late, winning just two of his last seven starts, so he will get a break and give way to Cam Talbot on Wednesday. Lundqvist figures to return to action Friday against the lowly Sabres, which could just be the medicine he needs to get back on track.(RotoWire, )
Mon. Nov 17, 2014
News: Lundqvist let in five goals on 30 shots in a 5-1 defeat against the Lightning on Monday. Impact: That's now three straight losses for Lundqvist, though he had played well in the previous two. He's just 7-5-3 this year, but he's still been solid in net and should pick up a fair share of wins, so fantasy owners should continue rolling him.(RotoWire, )
Sun. Nov 16, 2014
News: Lundqvist stopped 36 of 38 shots in Saturday's 2-all draw with Pittsburgh. Impact: Lundqvist is 2-1-3 with a 1.60 goals-against average in his six starts this month.(STATS, 5:13pm)

News: Lundqvist made 29 saves in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Penguins on Saturday night. Impact: He was named the game's third star in a confusing affair that saw the league overturn a shootout goal that would have won the game for the Rangers. Both teams had retreated to the dressing room, thinking the game was over, when they were called back out to the ice to continue the shootout. He remains one of the league's elite twinetenders and should be an auto-roll when he's in the blue paint.(RotoWire, )

News: Lundqvist will be in the net Saturday against the Penguins, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. Impact: Lundqvist notched his third shutout of the season earlier this week against the Penguins, but it seems doubtful that he'll be able to completely suppress the league's top-scoring offense for a second straight game. Nevertheless, given Lundqvist's standing as one of the game's best goalies, his fantasy owners are probably going to want to roll him Saturday even if the ratios he delivers aren't quite as shiny this time around.(RotoWire, )
Fri. Nov 14, 2014
News: Lundqvist is expected to start between the pipes Saturday against the Penguins, Andre Gross of The Record reports. Impact: Lundqvist will be making his fourth straight start if he indeed gets the call Saturday as expected. He stopped 26 of the 29 shots he faced in Thursday's contest, though he was beaten in the shootout. Saturday should provide him with another opportunity to get back on track.(RotoWire, )
Thu. Nov 13, 2014
News: Lundqvist stopped 26 of 29 shots through overtime and gave up two tallies on three shootout tries in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Avs. Impact: A tough one for Lundqvist, who's usually aces in the shootout. He'll look to get back in the win column Saturday against a Penguins team that he and the Rangers beat 5-0 on Tuesday.(RotoWire, )
Thu. Nov 13, 2014
News: Lundqvist will be between the pipes for Thursday's game against the Avalanche, Newsday's Steve Zipay reports. Impact: Lundqvist has dominated since the calendar turned to November, posting a 1.22 GAA and .958 save mark in four starts. He will look to stay hot Thursday against a struggling Colorado team that has won just one of its last six games.(RotoWire, )
Wed. Nov 12, 2014
News: Lundqvist made 33 saves in Tuesday's 5-0 win over Pittsburgh. Impact: Lundqvist has three shutouts in his last eight games, over which he's 5-2-1 with a 1.85 goals-against average.(STATS, 5:21pm)
