News: Booth (foot) has been sent to AHL Toronto for a conditioning assignment, James Mirtle of the Globe and Mail reports. Impact: Booth was able to resume practicing Monday and appears fully recovered from his broken foot, but because he hasn't played in a game since Sept. 28, the organization wants him to test things out in the minors first. His assignment isn't expected to last beyond the weekend, perhaps allowing him to make his season debut for the Leafs on Wednesday in Pittsburgh.(RotoWire, )

News: Booth (foot) will not be activated from injured reserve for Thursday's game against the Lightning, David Alter of NHL.com reports. Impact: Booth skated Thursday and has practiced a few times this week, but with him coming off a foot injury, he still needs more time on the ice to get back into playing shape. Consider him a possibility for Toronto's next game Saturday.(RotoWire, )

News: Booth (foot) was a full participant in Monday's practice, Mark Masters of TSN reports. Impact: Monday was the winger's first full practice with the Maple Leafs after breaking his foot in the preseason, but there's no word yet on his status for Tuesday's game against the Predators. There's a good chance he'll need to sit out a couple more games to work on his conditioning before actually suiting up.(RotoWire, )

News: Booth (foot) skated with the rest of his teammates at Tuesday's morning skate, Jonas Siegel of TSN Radio 1050 reports. Impact: Booth still isn't practicing and might remain several days away from doing so, but the fact that he's back skating would seem to be encouraging. The forward has been out all season after fracturing his foot late in training camp.(RotoWire, )

News: Booth (broken foot) skated on his own prior to Tuesday's practice, Mark Masters of TSN reports. Impact: It's believed to be the first time Booth has taken the ice since suffering the injury late in training camp. The Maple Leafs announced just a day earlier that Booth is considered week-to-week with the injury, so it still sounds like he's set to miss at least a handful of games before making his return.(RotoWire, )
