News: Palmieri scored for the second time in three games in Sunday's win over the Coyotes. Impact: After missing the first 18 games of the season with a high ankle sprain, Palmieri has collected two goals and a plus-1 rating through four games. Skating on the second line with Ryan Kesler and playing on the power play, the 23-year-old will get a great opportunity to surpass the career-high 14 goals and 31 points he recorded in 2013-14.(RotoWire, )

News: Palmieri scored his first goal of the year in his second game back Tuesday against Calgary, a late-third-period tally on the power play to tie the game at 3-3 before the Ducks eventually went on to lose in a shootout. He also laid five hits and collected four PIM. Impact: A nicely well-rounded performance for Palmieri, who'd sat out the whole season prior to Sunday's game due to an ankle injury. Even with the time he's spent on the shelf, Palmieri has the talent to exceed last year's 31 points, though it would helpful if he could break into a consistent top-six role.(RotoWire, )

News: Palmieri (ankle) was activated from the Ducks' non-roster injury list Sunday and will play against the Panthers, Curtis Zupke of NHL.com reports. Impact: Palmieri has finally recovered from the high-ankle sprain that has plagued him all season and seems poised to make his debut against the Panthers on Sunday. He had two stints in the AHL to work up his conditioning, so he should be able to take a full load of minutes if Anaheim allows him to spend significant time on the ice.(RotoWire, )

News: Palmieri (ankle) was sent to AHL Norfolk on a conditioning stint, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Impact: Palmieri is finally over the high-ankle sprain that has bothered him since late in training camp, but because he's missed nearly a month and a half of action due to the injury, the Ducks want him to get some games under his belt in the minors before returning to the NHL squad. He'll be able to stay with Norfolk for up to two weeks before the Ducks would have to activate him from their non-roster injury list, though they could bring him back after just a couple of games if he shows less rust than expected.(RotoWire, )

News: Palmieri (ankle) has been pleased with his progress and believes he's now being considered day-to-day, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports. Impact: Palmieri took part in line rushes as an extra skater at Tuesday's practice and no longer seems to be facing any limitations with his injury. It's doubtful that he'll be return to the lineup Wednesday against the Kings, but after getting in a few more practices, Palmieri's season debut could come over the weekend.(RotoWire, )
