News: Stamkos (lower body) notched a power-play goal in Saturday's win over Minnesota. It was his 14th goal of the season. Impact: He now has 24 points in 22 games and is just one goal behind Tyler Seguin for the league lead in snipes. He's been remarkably consistent this season and has been held off the score sheet just once in his last nine. And he's never been held pointless for more than two games at a time. Whatever injury he suffered sure doesn't seem to have impacted him.(RotoWire, )

News: Stamkos (lower body) was on the ice for Saturday's optional morning skate and looks like he'll be in the lineup later in the evening against the Wild, Joe Smith of the Tampa Bay Times reports. Impact: As was believed all along, the lower-body injury Stamkos appeared to sustain late in Thursday's game won't cost him any action. Fantasy owners should have no qualms about keeping Stamkos in their lineups Saturday.(RotoWire, )

News: Stamkos scored his 13th goal of the season in the Lightning's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs on Thursday night. However, he may have suffered a lower-body injury earlier in the game. Impact: In-game cameras picked up shots of him awkwardly doing the splits early in the game and then struggling with acceleration/pushing off when pivoting. And post-pivot, he appeared to have problems lengthening his stride. That smacks of a groin issue; we'll find out more in the next couple days.(RotoWire, )
