News: Beagle exited Sunday's exhibition game with an upper-body injury. Impact: It's not exactly certain what knocked Beagle out of the game, but it may be related to the upper-body issue that kept him out of action earlier this preseason. News: Beagle (upper body) will see his first preseason action Friday when the Capitals are visited by the Bruins, Alex Prewitt of The Washington Post reports. Impact: Beagle has been dealing with an upper-body injury, but has been practicing since Wednesday with no apparent setbacks. Battling for a fourth-line spot on the Capitals' opening night roster, Beagle isn't likely to be a factor in fantasy leagues unless he can move up the ranks and find a consistent scoring touch, but the Capitals will be happy to have him back in the fold.(RotoWire, )

News: Beagle has missed the Caps' first three preseason contests due to a minor upper-body injury, Alex Prewitt of the Washington Post reports. Impact: Coach Barry Trotz seemed to indicate that Beagle was being held out for precautionary purposes, as he's not yet all the way back to 100 percent health. Trotz mentioned that Beagle is expected to play in the team's final five exhibitions, which should give him plenty of time to get ready for the start of the regular season.(RotoWire, )
