News: Rask stopped 31 of 34 shots Tuesday in a 5-3 victory over the Sharks. Impact: Rask and the Bruins actually fell into a 3-2 hole in this one before rallying for three unanswered goals in the third period. While it's good to see Rask pick up his third win, this is just a so-so game by his lofty standards and his save percentage early on this year is still hovering well under .900.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask led the Bruins onto the ice and will start Tuesday against the Sharks. Impact: Rask will match up with San Jose's Antii Niemi as he looks to even his season record at 3-3.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask is in line to start Tuesday's game against the Sharks. Impact: Rask was the first goalie off the ice following Tuesday's morning skate, which puts him on track to open Tuesday's game in the home team's crease. He will take on a San Jose team that was shut out in its last contest, but is still averaging 3.17 goals per game.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask was touched up for five goals on just 23 shots in Thursday's loss to Montreal before giving way to Niklas Svedberg at the 7:17 mark of the third period of the contest. Impact: Aside from his strong effort in the opener, Rask hasn't looked very Rask-like in most of his outings, as he entered the game with a sub-.900 save mark, and things certainly didn't get better. While it's more than reasonable to expect Rask to recover from this rough patch nicely, it's possible that the Bruins will go to Svedberg against Buffalo on Saturday.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask will be in goal Thursday against the Canadiens, Amalie Benjamin of the Boston Globe reports. Impact: It wasn't known who would be in the starter's crease for the Bruins after they chose not to skate Thursday morning, but it looks like the team will stick with Rask for their second game in as many days. Rask's save percentage sits at a mediocre .894 through four games, but it shouldn't take long before he brings that up closer to his .927 career mark.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask allowed two goals on 20 shots in Wednesday's shootout win over the Red Wings. Impact: Rask improved to 2-2, as the Bruins finally looked like the Cup contenders they're expected to be preseason, outshooting the Wings 39-20.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask will be between the pipes for Wednesday night's contest against the Red Wings. Impact: Rask was the first goalie off the ice during Wednesday's morning skate, and as expected, led the Bruins on the ice for pregame warmups. He'll get an early rematch against Detroit, a team that already defeated Rask 2-1 back on October 9.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate Wednesday and is thus expected to start against the Red Wings. Impact: Rask turned in a rare dud of a performance his last time out Saturday against the Capitals, surrendering four goals on just 17 shots. The Bruins let him rest Monday versus the Avalanche in favor of backup Niklas Svedberg, so Rask should be more than ready to redeem himself Wednesday. Even if Rask plays his usual solid game, he'll still require more support from the Bruins offense, which has generated four goals in the team's four contests to date.(RotoWire, )

Sat. Oct 11, 2014
News: Rask made 17 saves in a 4-0 loss to Washington on Saturday night. Impact: He's one of the league's best, but he can't win games singlehandedly -- cripes, the Bruins have scored just three goals in their first three games this season. Be patient -- they'll right the ship and Rask will once again deliver elite numbers for fantasy owners.(RotoWire, )

News: Rask was the first goalie off the ice at morning skate and looks prepared to start Saturday against the Capitals, Joe Haggerty of CSNNE.com reports. Impact: It was thought that the Bruins might consider resting Rask with the Bruins kicking off their season with three games in four days, but it looks like coach Claude Julien will stick with the reigning Vezina Trophy winner yet again Saturday. To Rask's credit, he played superbly in the Bruins' Wednesday/Thursday back-to-back, saving 41 of 44 shots (.932 save percentage) while posting a 1.53 GAA. Even with the strenuous workload thus far, expect Rask to deliver another sterling performance versus the Capitals. With the B's playing four games in six days (including back-to-back tilts Wednesday and Thursday) next week, look for backup Niklas Svedberg to see at least one start during that span.(RotoWire, )
