News: Holden found twine for his second goal of the season Thursday against the Flames.
Impact: Moved from defense to the fourth line for this one, Holden made coach Patrick Roy look wise for making the switch, as his second-period tally briefly gave the Avs the lead. It's not certain at this time how long he'll continue to play at the wing, as that will likely be dictated by how long the team's multiple injured forwards remain out.

News: Holden opened the scoring just 31 seconds into Thursday's eventual shootout win over Toronto with his first goal of the year.
Impact: The 27-year-old blueliner had been simply brutal over the season's first 14 games, going minus-10 with no goals and two assists. Ugly stuff, and certainly not the way that Holden wanted to start following last year's 10-goal rookie campaign. Of course, the fact that he scored those 10 goals on just 66 shots as a defenseman should have set off fantasy owners' fluke alarms.
