News: Boedker (stomach) confirmed Tuesday that he anticipates being ready for training camp in September.
Impact: In a blog post he penned for the team's website, Boedker indicated that he's progressing well in his recovery from a ruptured spleen. "I'm feeling good and a lot stronger than just a few weeks ago," Boedker said. "My rehab and workouts are going well. I'm not quite there yet but I'll get there. I'm about five pounds short of reaching my target weight so it's not a big deal." Boedker went on to confirm that he'll be "100 percent ready" for training camp and said that he plans to "skate as much as I can this summer."
