Agostino notched a power-play assist in Thursday's 6-3 win over Vancouver.
Agostino logged 16:08 worth of ice time overall, working in a bottom-six role in even strength situations, but it is notable that he saw 7:22 worth of power play action in the contest. If that continues, the 25-year-old, who has enjoyed success at the AHL level, could carve out a degree of utility in deeper fantasy formats.
Agostino will suit up for the Bruins on Thursday against the Canucks.
The Bruins are looking for a spark up front and Agostino will join the team's forward lineup Thursday, along with David Backes, who is back in action following a bout with diverticulitis. Agostino was off to a strong start for AHL Providence, recording seven points in three games, and he'll look to parlay that success into a steady bottom-six role with the big club.
Agostino was recalled from AHL Providence on Wednesday.
Last season's AHL top scorer started 2017-18 with a bang in Providence, posting a whopping seven points in three games. While the Bruins had at most 11 healthy forwards before the recall, Agostino may have gotten a look in the lineup anyway, due to the under-performance of fellow wingers like Matt Beleskey, Frank Vatrano and Anders Bjork. Wednesday's practice will give a better indication as to whether or not Agostino will make his Bruins debut Thursday against Vancouver.
