News: Lehtonen only played in the third period, but allowed three goals on 11 Chicago shots in Saturday's loss.
Impact: Lehtonen has been a real clunker throughout the preseason. Through four games, he failed to produce a save percentage above .900. Prospective owners should pay close attention as it would seem that Dallas' starting netminding gig is ripe for the picking for newly-minted Star Antti Niemi.

News: Lehtonen allowed three goals on 24 shots in Thursday's preseason loss to the Lightning.
Impact: It's another sub-.900 night for Lehtonen, who is battling for his job. It's just a preseason game, so take it with a grain of salt, but Lehtonen has been rotten throughout the preseason. His save percentage has been below .900 in each of his three starts, with two of those starts seeing him bring in a sub-.850 save percentage.

News: Lehtonen allowed six goals on 30 shots against the Blues in Thursday night's exhibition game.
Impact: What an ugly performance for a guy attempting to claim the top goalie spot over new Stars contractee Antti Niemi in the upcoming season. Despite getting peppered with four even-strength goals in the second period, Lehtonen remained on the ice for the full 60 minutes. It's worth noting that Lehtonen will bank a cool $6 million in base salary in 2015-16, compared to $4.5 million for Niemi, so he has that going for him. However, Lehtonen simply cannot afford more performances like this one if he wants to be the main man in net for Dallas.
