News: Hansen opened the scoring with a bullet in Wednesday's season-opening win over the Flames.
Impact: It was a rocket of a shot from Hansen, who skated on the third line, firing three shots on goal in 13:40 of ice time. While the 29-year-old has never surpassed 40 points in his career, he potted 16 goals last season and is a solid bottom-six winger. He won't get many assists, but the speedy Dane has a great shot and should have another decent season in the goal department. Hansen isn't spectacular, but at least you know what you're getting.

News: Hansen scored a late game-tying tally and fired three shots on goal in Sunday's preseason finale OT win over the Oilers.
Impact: A strong finish to the preseason for Hansen, who recorded a goal and an assist in four games. While there's a chance he sees some playing time with the Sedin twins in 2015-16, it's more likely he'll spend the majority of this season in a bottom-six role. The 29-year-old matched a career best with 16 goals in 2014-15, but he's never surpassed 40 points in his career and doesn't see power-play time. He's a decent fantasy option in some deep leagues, but in his ninth NHL season, don't expect anything spectacular.
