Michael Del Zotto (No. 15) recorded his first multi-point performance of the season in impressive fashion as the Philadelphia Flyers defenseman completed a two-goal performance Thursday by scoring in overtime of the Flyers' 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild. The 25-year-old's goals were his first since Nov. 27, when he scored against his former team, Nashville.
Maple Leafs' Bernier shows grit in blanking Ducks
Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Jonathan Bernier got physical with Anaheim's Corey Perry en route to making 39 saves in a 4-0 win over the Ducks on Wednesday. The shutout was the second of the season and 11th career blanking by the 27-year-old Bernier, who won three in a row and six of his last eight games prior to Saturday's 7-0 loss to the San Jose Sharks.

New York Islanders forward Cal Clutterbuck celebrates the first of his two goals in Sunday's 6-5 victory over the Dallas Stars. The 28-year-old scored in the first period and returned in the second period following a high hit from Dallas defenseman Jason Demers to record a second goal.

Chicago Blackhawks rookie forward Artemi Panarin haunted the Pittsburgh Penguins during their home-and-home series this past week. The 24-year-old Russian scored two goals in Chicago's 3-2 road victory on Tuesday and tallied two more the following night in a 3-1 triumph at the United Center.
'Great 8' Ovechkin sizzles with OT winner in 800th career game
Alex Ovechkin played in his 800th career game on Saturday and had plenty of reason to celebrate after scoring his second goal of the game 1:25 into overtime to give the Washington Capitals a 4-3 win over the New York Rangers. The three-time Hart Trophy winner netted his 499th career tally by skating the length of the ice and fending off Rangers captain Ryan McDonagh before wristing a shot past Henrik Lundqvist.
Wild's Parise records second hat trick of season
Minnesota Wild forward Zach Parise celebrated his second hat trick of the season and fourth career trick to lift his team to a 4-2 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday. Parise, who scored three goals in the season opener against Colorado, joined Marian Gaborik as the lone members of the Wild to notch multiple hat tricks in one season.
