News: Etem was recalled from AHL Norfolk on Monday.
Impact: Etem's promotion could signal at least a brief absence for Matt Beleskey after the winger left Sunday's game with an upper-body injury. In 27 games with the NHL club this season, the 22-year-old has six points and a minus-4 rating.

News: Etem was reassigned to AHL Norfolk on Friday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Impact: With the Ducks needing to clear a roster spot for Kyle Palmieri's return from injured reserve, Etem was the most logical choice as a winger on a two-way deal. Etem hasn't made much of an impact over his 27 games with Anaheim this season, netting two goals and four assists.

News: Etem was recalled from AHL Norfolk on Wednesday, Eric Stephens of the Orange County Register reports.
Impact: With Kyle Palmieri out indefinitely after suffering a shoulder injury Tuesday night, Etem will rejoin the Ducks for a second stint. The winger, who battled the mumps shortly after his Nov. 24 demotion back to the AHL, looks to be back at full strength now, much to the relief of a Ducks squad that has been ravaged by the virus this season. Etem tallied just four points in 21 games over his stint with Anaheim earlier this season, so expectations should probably be tempered, despite the 22-year-old's offensive gifts. He skated on the second line with Ryan Kesler and Matt Beleskey at Wednesday's practice.
