News: Roussel, who was having a strong sophomore campaign until mid-January, has just one goal and one assist in the 28 games since January 18.
Impact: It's a pretty incredible all-stop for Roussel. In the 44 games prior to this slump he had 11 goals and 11 assists, a pace of .5 points per game, which had been on track to best a solid 14-goal, 15-assist performance last season. Since those first 44 games, he's averaging .07 points per game. His shots have fallen off, too. He started the season averaging 1.55 shots per game and has fallen to 1.14 shots per game in the last 28 games. His ice time hasn't suffered greatly through most of the slump, but it's starting to and unless he finds his scoring touch, you can assume that his ice time is going to stay low.
