News: Burfict is reportedly recovering from microfracture surgery on his left knee, ESPN.com reports.
Impact: The report relays that Dr. Neal ElAttrache, the surgeon who performed the procedure on Burfict, is hopeful that the linebacker will be at full strength in advance of training camp. "I don't see any reason, if this thing heals like we want and we think it will, why he won't be back like he was," ElAttrache noted. "Microfracture has a bad connotation, but there are plenty of guys who have come back and been able to play like before. But it's not really news when it works out." When healthy, Burfict -- who was limited to five games in 2014 -- is a top-notch IDP, having recorded a league-leading 171 tackles during the 2013 season.
