News: Thompson (knee) was waived by the Titans on Thursday.
Impact: The 2012 fifth-round pick recorded 11 catches and one touchdown over three seasons in Tennessee while playing mostly on special teams. The knee injury he suffered in 2014 was still troubling Thompson in camp, so the Titans chose to part ways. Even if Thompson latches on with another team, it won't be in much more than a special-teams role.
