WR Alshon Jeffery on Chicago Bears' new offense: 'It's a secret'

For those eager to see what the Chicago Bears offense will look like under new coordinator Adam Gase, star wide receiver Alshon Jeffery isn't offering any sneak previews. When speaking about it with Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times recently, Jeffery remained tight-lipped.

"I gotta save that," Jeffery told the Sun-Times when asked about the details of the scheme. "It’s a secret."

Jeffery was more candid when the topic shifted to his new teammate, wide receiver Kevin White. A West Virginia product, White was the seventh-overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft and figures to be an ideal replacement for Brandon Marshall opposite Jeffery.

Jeffery predicted greatness for the rookie wideout.

"He’s a great player," Jeffery said, per the Sun-Times. "He's an explosive player. We can't wait for the season. What he's going to do on the field is going to be great."

With two tantalizing targets in Jeffery and White, quarterback Jay Cutler has the personnel in place for a pretty solid passing attack.
