Ugg boots and jockstraps: Wes Welker's favorite Tom Brady prank
Wes Welker has told plenty of strange stories to the media, but this one might take the cake.
Welker played for the New England Patriots from 2007 to 2012, which means plenty of hangout time with Tom Brady. The quarterback completed hundreds of passes to the wide receiver during his time with New England, but apparently even Brady wasn't above Welker's antics.
In a recent interview with ESPN the Magazine, the current Denver Broncos wideout revealed his favorite prank that he pulled on Brady. It's interesting, to say the least.
We're not exactly sure how standing in the freezing cold wearing nothing but a jock strap and UGG boots qualifies as a "prank" on Brady, but hey, whatever works for Welker.
Of course, his new quarterback, Peyton Manning, has endorsed a few products in his day, so maybe Welker's tale is a bit of foreshadowing for his next escapade.
