Jason Hatcher expects to play against the Buffalo Bills

Washington Redskins' defensive lineman Jason Hatcher played through an injury against the Chicago Bears, and after noticing an improvement in his overall health all throughout the week, Hatcher expects to play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Hatcher has been dealing with nerve issues in his left shoulder. The injury limited him to just 12 snaps against the Bears.

“A couple days ago, it was like a burning sensation all night,” Hatcher told The Washington Post's Master Tesfatsion. “It just burned, burned. I heard that’s kind of a good sign that it’s kind of waking back up. These last couple days it’s went away but for the most part, you can’t use your arm like you want to. You can’t hold it up, you can’t swing it and stuff like that because that nerve connected to those muscles (is) not sending the signal out to tell it to work.”

“As long as I don’t hit it and re-aggravate it to set it back, I’ll be okay,” Hatcher added.

Hatcher suffered the injury two weeks ago against the Dallas Cowboys.

This year, the 33-year-old has recorded 13 tackles and forced one fumble.
