The Washington Redskins have several key players on the injury report heading into the second preseason game. Jackson has been sidelined with a shoulder injury after running into a blocking sled during the Redskins' joint practices with the Texans.
Crowder has been sidelined with a hamstring injury that occurred just after Jackson's injury. Before the injury, Crowder had been very impressive during training camp.

The third preseason game is known as the dress rehearsal for the regular season, so it will be interesting to see what kind of participation each player has in that game. Jackson is entrenched as the starting split end, but Crowder's role is less certain. He was making a strong push to win the slot receiver job before the injury.
