A look ahead to Sunday’s game with the Indianapolis Colts at Lambeau Field
Again, injuries continue to effect Green Bay and have a role on their success. Wide receiver’s Randall Cobb and Ty Montgomery were both out, which meant the Packers had to rely heavily on a trio of unfamiliar wideouts; Trevor Davis, Jeff Janis and Geronimo Allison.
All three players came up big each hauling in a touchdown from Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has been regaining his mojo. In his last two games he has completed 71.3 percent of his passes, for 572 yards, 7 TDs and 0 INTs. Lets not forget his 111.7 passer rating. So is Rodgers finally back?
The biggest concern on the offensive side, other than health, is the running back position. With Montgomery becoming a late scratch the Packers were led by Rodgers on the ground and rookie fullback Aaron Ripkowski. Running backs Don Jackson and Knile Davis were not effective at all.
Speaking of Davis, the Packers announced on Monday that they have waived him. Can the Packers have success moving forward without a true rushing attack?
