Every Green Bay Packers fan questioned the offense prior to the team’s home opener against the Detroit Lions.

In the end, there was nothing to question as they showed up on Sunday defeating the Detroit Lions, 34-27.

Aaron Rodgers and company scored 31 first half points, which included four touchdown passes from the two-time NFL MVP.

It was pretty clear from the outset of the game that Rodgers had brought his A game on Sunday. He was getting rid of the ball more quickly than he had in the first two games and was connecting with several receivers in that productive first half.

Two of those strikes were to his favorite target, Jordy Nelson, who broke the 100-yard receiving mark for the first time since December 2014.

Nelson, who has scoring catches in all three of the first games prior to this week’s bye, it is pretty clear that he is back.

And finally, there was a healthy dose of Eddie Lacy in the backfield pummeling the Lions’ defense.

But, on the other side of the ball, the secondary continued to struggle.

After getting torched at Minnesota by Stefon Diggs, it was another tough week for Damarious Randall as he tried to keep up with Marvin Jones. In addition to the troubles that Randall experienced, it was fellow cornerback Josh Hawkins who also had his welcome to the NFL moment.

The one thing that has been consistent for this defense is its ability to stop the run. They held the Lions to 50 yards on 23 carries.

The Packers head into their early bye week battered with injuries but are sitting at 2-1.

Is the offense finally back?

What did the offense do differently this week compared to the preview two?

Is there any way they can fix the secondary issues?

Joseph D’Aloisio, Ralph Mancini and Dan Dahlke of Lombardiave.com sat down and discussed the positives and negatives from the victory.
