Report: Tom Brady's earnings pass those of wife Gisele Bundchen
New England quarterback Tom Brady, the NFL's highest-paid player, will for the first time earn more in a year than his wife Gisele Bundchen, the world's highest-paid supermodel, NBC Sports reported Friday.
According to Forbes, Bundchen has raked in $25 million over the past year.
Brady, meanwhile, is set to make $26.5 million courtesy of a $16 million signing bonus, $7 million base salary and $3 million roster bonus, the report said.
Forbes lists Bundchen as the 16th-richest woman in the entertainment world with an estimated $150 million fortune, and until signing his record deal on the eve of the new NFL season, Brady had not come close to matching the earnings of the Brazilian beauty.
Brady, a two-time Super Bowl MVP, married Bundchen in 2009 and they have one son together.
