Tom Brady is working out with Gisele Bundchen during his Deflategate suspension
Now that his four-game suspension for Deflategate is underway, Tom Brady can't be anywhere near the Patriots. He's not allowed to practice with the team or even talk to his teammates until this whole ordeal is over. Fortunately for Brady, he enlisted some high-profile help for his first weekend away from the team.
Gisele Bundchen is ready, willing and able to take on the role of wide receiver for her husband:
Last month, former Patriots running back Kevin Faulk said that he thinks Brady will reach out to former teammates such as Randy Moss as potential workout partners during his suspension. That's probably wise; one can always make the most of throwing to actual NFL WRs. But it's good to know that Gisele is ready in a pinch.
Earlier this week, Brady told People magazine that his ideal date with his wife is simply spending time with her:
"I like whatever it is, as long as we're together," says Brady. "Whether it's movies or dinner or walks or whatever, our lives are busy. Especially during the football season for me, I don't get a lot of time, but whenever I do get the time, it's a precious time for me."
By those standards, this game of catch technically qualifies as date night for one of the world's power-couples.
