Tom Brady endorsed a concussion-protection drink, too?

Russell Wilson again is a step behind Tom Brady.

Wilson recently claimed in a profile for Rolling Stone that some special water helped him recover from a head injury he suffered in the 2014 NFC Championship Game. It sounds ludicrous, sure, but the Seattle Seahawks quarterback isn’t the first professional athlete to endorse a concussion-protection drink.

Brady apparently endorsed some product called “NeuroSafe” back in the day.

NeuroSafe, according to the product’s Facebook page, “protects your brain from the consequences of sports-related traumatic brain injury.”

Via Jack Moore/Twitter:

“NeuroSafe makes me feel comfortable that if I get a concussion I can recover faster and more fully,” Brady is quoted as saying in the ad. “There is no other solution on the market today that can do what NeuroSafe does. It’s that extra level of protection that gives me comfort when I’m out on the field.”

It appears the drink Brady endorsed no longer exists. The last update on the product’s Facebook page is from 2011. There’s no telling how long Wilson’s magical water will last on shelves, but if the company fails, Brady probably will be the least surprised of anyone.

TB12, a real man before his time.
