Tim Tebow is lending a helping hand to his birthplace.
The foundation for the former NFL quarterback has added a donation link to help people in the Philippines who were devastated by Typhoon Haiyan.
Tebow, who was born in the Philippines while his parents were serving as missionaries, has made the country one of the primary beneficiaries of his outreach program.
The Tim Tebow Foundation is teaming up with CURE International to build a children’s hospital in Davao City. Tebow’s organization is also working with his dad’s foundation, the Bob Tebow Evangelistic Association, to help build churches and orphan care in the nation.
Tebow, who appeared in 12 games last season with the Jets, has not played a single down this year.
