The 13 QBs in the NFL that you have to pay big bucks

We all know that the quarterback is the most valuable position on the field. Well, just how valuable is usually the thing NFL teams most struggle with.

According to Colin Cowherd, there are only 13 quarterbacks in the league that deserve elite money. Here they are:

Tom Brady, Patriots

Cam Newton, Panthers

2016 OPPONENTS SET

Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers

Aaron Rodgers, Packers

Andrew Luck, Colts

Tony Romo, Cowboys

Drew Brees, Saints

Russell Wilson, Seahawks

Eli Manning, Giants

Joe Flacco, Ravens

Matthew Stafford, Lions

Philip Rivers, Chargers

Carson Palmer, Cardinals

That’s a great list. Among them, they have 15 Super Bowl appearances. Stafford may be the most controversial on the list, but like Cowherd pointed out, "there are no Matt Staffords in the draft."

Let’s switch gears to quarterbacks Colin wouldn’t pay:

Andy Dalton, Bengals

Jay Cutler, Bears

Matt Ryan, Falcons

Alex Smith, Chiefs

Kirk Cousins, Redskins (pending free agent)

Cutler was recently added to the list because "he doesn’t translate to enough wins," according to Cowherd.

And apparently the Bengals winning has nothing to do with their quarterback. "The best quarterback in the NFL that you don’t have to pay is Andy Dalton," Cowherd said.

You can hear him explain it in more detail in the video above, and get into it with a fan about Dalton in the video below.
