WATCH: CB Lane stymies fake FG in season debut for Seahawks

Cornerback Jeremy Lane didn't need much time to make an impact for the Seattle Seahawks.

Making his season debut after he was activated off the physically unable to perform list this week, Lane thwarted an attempted trick play by the Pittsburgh Steelers with an interception to set up the Seahawks' first touchdown in Sunday's matchup against the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers.

Lane, seeing his first action since he suffered a broken left arm and torn ACL in Seattle's Super Bowl loss to New England in February, was in perfect position after the Steelers attempted a pass play out of a field goal attempt on the first play of the second quarter.

Holder Landry Jones, Pittsburgh's backup quarterback, came out of his hold and lined up in a passing formation. Jones rolled right and attempted to throw back to the left to Alejandro Villanueva, but Lane was waiting and returned it 54 yards before running out of gas and tumbling to the turf.
