Ryan Tannehill praises his 'most athletic' receivers

Published May. 27, 2015 5:11 p.m. ET

Ryan Tannehill is fresh off signing a 6 year, $96 million contract extension last week and he has his sights set on proving his worth to both the Miami Dolphins and the rest of the NFL.

As he looks to continue improving on his game, he will be relying on a revamped wide receiver corps that has gone through a lot of changes this offseason. Gone is Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline and Brandon Gibson. Replacing them is 2015 first round pick DeVante Parker, Kenny Stills and Greg Jennings. Parker, Stills and Jennings will work with Jarvis Landry who will be looking to improve upon a successful rookie season.

Tannehill got his first taste of what the receiving corps will look like as the Dolphins started OTAs this week and Tannehill was very excited from what he saw.

Via the South Florida Sun Sentinel Tannehill said, "As far as natural pass-catchers, guys that snag the ball with their hands and are athletic, I think it's definitely the most athletic group we've had."
