Roddy White starting for Falcons against Giants

Published Dec. 16, 2012 12:07 p.m. ET

Roddy White is starting for the Atlanta Falcons against the New York Giants after missing practice all week with a sore right knee.

White, the Falcons' leader with 1,140 yards receiving on 77 catches, continues his streak of not missing a game since he was drafted in 2005.

Chris Hope will start at safety for William Moore, who is inactive with injured ribs.

Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks also is active after being limited in practice by a knee injury. As expected, the Giants are without leading rusher Ahmad Bradshaw due to lingering knee and foot problems.
