Roddy White concerned about strength of schedule? Not so much

Published Apr. 28, 2015 12:29 a.m. ET

Roddy White is gearing up for year No. 11 in the NFL, so it's safe to say that he has a fairly good grasp on what to expect on a year in and year out basis. One thing that he has essentially no concern about, according to Reid Ferrin of AtlantaFalcons.com, is his team's strength of schedule.

“That doesn’t mean anything,” White said. “Every year in this league you find a team that didn’t’ win five games (the year before) and the next year it wins 11; it’s always like that in the NFL. There’s always some Cinderella team that comes out of nowhere and wins a lot of games. None of that actually means anything to me.”

If you're a fan of the Dirty Birds, you have to love the mindset. But, if you are concerned about strength of schedule, you can rest easy, as the Falcons actually have the easiest schedule this coming season, according to John Breech of CBS Sports.

In the always intriguing NFC South, could 2015 be the Falcons' year to make some noise and get back to the playoffs? I wouldn't bet against it.
