Richard Sherman says karma has finally caught up to Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers

Following the Carolina Panthers' 31-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the Wild Card round of the 2016 NFL playoffs, one of the more memorable, controversial moments of the season went down as Cam Newton ripped a '12th man' flag from a Seahawks fans' grasp and threw it onto the ground.

For weeks, the action sparked loyalty, outrage, and everything in-between.

Well, fast-forward to this current 2016-2017 NFL campaign -- and the Carolina Panthers, sitting at 4-7, are likely going to miss the playoffs this season unless they're able to run the table from this point forward and get some help.

Some will blame it on a 'Super Bowl Hangover', some will find statistical analysis to support why the Panthers are just simply not as good as last year, but Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has an alternative suggestion -- 'karma'.

We'll have to wait and see who karma is truly after until the next time these two face each other on the gridiron.
