Veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne's run with the Indianapolis may be over, but it appears he's not ready to call it a career just yet.

According to ESPN's Mike Wells, the 36-year-old Wayne plans to play another year. Wayne, who returned to Indianapolis Friday to receive the key to the city, said a number of teams have called about his services.

"It's something I'm excited about," Wayne said, via ESPN. "I really am. I guess in due time we'll figure out where it is."

The Colts' first-round pick in 2001, Wayne caught 1,070 passes for 14,345 yards and 82 touchdowns during his 14-year career in Indianapolis. The Colts announced March 6 they would not be bringing him back for a 15th season.

Wayne said he's interested in playing because he wants to retire on his terms.

"I want to finish how I know I can finish," Wayne said.

The six-time Pro Bowler had 64 receptions for 779 yards and two touchdowns last season.
