Raiders center Rodney Hudson lands on NFL's All-Underrated team

Oakland's new center just happens to be one of the NFL's most underrated players.

So says NFL.com's Elliot Harrison, who named Rodney Hudson to his All-Underrated Team despite the 5-year, $44.5 million deal that brought him to the Raiders this offseason.

“Hudson was solid in the run game and screen game in Kansas City last season," Harrison wrote. "Now, he'll surely hope to make a name for himself for reasons beyond his salary."

The AFC West knows Hudson well enough. He made 31 starts over four seasons as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs before joining the Silver and Black.

Obviously, general manager Reggie McKenzie agrees with Harrison's assessment. Hudson was one of the first players he called when free agency opened this season.
