Potential options to fill in for Junior Galette if he opts for surgery

With Junior Galette suffering a pectoral injury and in the midst of mulling over surgery, it immediately brings up the question of who could fill in the void if he was to miss time. Fortunately for the New Orleans Saints, they have a few options, as Mike Triplett of ESPN points out.

Triplett explains that "the Saints' one saving grace is that they had already loaded up this offseason on more outside linebacker depth than usual. They added former Pro Bowler Anthony Spencer in free agency. Then they drafted college football's sack leader from last season, Washington's Hau'oli Kikaha, in the second round."

For what it's worth, losing Galette would be a tough blow, but both Spencer and Kikaha would be above average replacements, to say the least. While the rookie Kikaha is a bit of an unknown, New Orleans would have the option of splitting up time between the veteran and the exceptional young pass rusher.
