Patriots sign veteran linebacker Dane Fletcher

After bringing back Brandon Spikes from the Buffalo Bills earlier this month to bolster the linebacker position, the Patriots brought in more depth at linebacker by signing another former Patriot on Tuesday.

The Patriots announced the signing of Dane Fletcher to a one-year deal. Fletcher spent the 2014 season playing for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers where he started four of the 16 games that he appeared in.

Fletcher has been in the league for four seasons. He spent the first three seasons of his career in New England before heading to Tampa Bay last year.
