Hey Nike, ever been to Carolina?

Uhh Nike, that isn't North Carolina.

Nike had a ... um ... geographically challenged T-shirt posted on the company's website until it was taken down.

We're not just watching the field on Sunday. NFL cheerleaders provide the perfect sideshow.

You see, the Carolina Panthers play in Charlotte, which is in North Carolina. Therefore, it would stand to reason that a T-shirt showcasing the Panthers' state would feature a picture of North Carolina. What you wouldn't expect to see is a silhouette of South Carolina with a Panthers logo and the letters "NC" on it.

Apparently, the apparel designers over at Nike failed their geography classes in high school. It is easy to see where the confusion arose from, as South Carolina is, well, directly south of N.C., but this is sort of inexcusable for a company of Nike's caliber.

The shirt has since been taken off Nike's online store, so you can't pay $32 for it anymore. Those who were lucky enough to buy the shirt, however, have a rare and awesome collector's item for their closet. Wear it with pride!
