Here’s a look at the top five games to look forward to for NFL Week 7.

Whether it’s Brock Osweiler facing his former team or two NFC West rivals squaring off for the first time in 2016, NFL Week 7 should be filled with plenty of action for fans to enjoy.

Osweiler made a bold decision when he shocked the Denver Broncos in the offseason by signing with the Houston Texans, and even though he’s struggled at times, the quarterback is coming off a big win against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 6. If it wasn’t for Osweiler leading the Texans to two touchdowns in the final three minutes, this team wouldn’t be leading the division heading into Monday’s game against the Broncos.

As for the rest of the top games, let’s just the always intense matchup between the Seattle Seahawks and Arizona Cardinals should live up to the hype as usual with both teams entering Sunday’s game on hot streaks. The Los Angeles Rams may have shown potential at times, but all signs point to the division title going to either the Seahawks or Cardinals when the regular season does come to an end.

Without wasting any more time, let’s jump right in and take a look at the top five games for football fans to enjoy in NFL Week 7.

5. Redskins vs. Lions

A couple of weeks ago, who would have thought a Week 7 matchup between the Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions would be exciting enough to make this list?

More from NFL Spin Zone

After rough starts to the season, both teams head into Sunday’s game as two of the hottest teams in football as the Redskins are winners of four straight while the Lions are coming off back-to-back home wins. With the way these two teams are playing, there’s a good chance this is going to turn into a very high-scoring game that could easily be determined in the fourth quarter, which means there will be plenty of excitement for football fans.

What makes this game even more intriguing is how each game during both team’s winning streak has been decided by single digits. While there’s still plenty of football left to be played in the 2016 season, there’s a good chance Washington and Detroit could find themselves battling for one of the playoff spots in the NFC once December rolls around.

With seven touchdowns over the last two games, don’t be surprised if Matthew Stafford continues to stay hot against the Redskins as the quarterback continues to find success with this unexpected group of wide receivers.

    4. Vikings vs. Eagles

Is there really a reason needed to get excited about this game between the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles? Even though he only spent one season in the City of Brotherly Love, it will be interesting to see how Eagles fans react to Sam Bradford‘s return with the 5-0 Vikings.

One of the reasons why Philadelphia fans became frustrated over Bradford was the way he reacted to the team moving up in the 2016 NFL Draft to select Carson Wentz in May. Now, the veteran will get the chance to square off against the rookie. With Minnesota being the only remaining undefeated team, Bradford has never been part of a team this talented and, while the atmosphere in Philadelphia can be tough to play in, it’s nothing the quarterback hasn’t seen before.

The Vikings defense has been playing out of their minds this season as they head into Week 7 by only allowing 12.6 points per game. Of course, when looking at how much the Eagles offense struggled against the Redskins last weekend, Doug Pederson‘s squad could be in trouble on Sunday.

Then again, don’t be surprised if Philadelphia plays with a little extra motivation since they’re squaring off against their former teammate in Bradford.

    3. Patriots vs. Steelers

For starters, this game would have been much higher on the list if Ben Roethlisberger was playing in this game when considering everybody loves a good matchup between two of the league’s top quarterbacks. However, even without Roethlisberger in the lineup, the Steelers should feel confident enough with Landry Jones at quarterback when considering the weapons he has to work with on offense.

At the beginning of the season, Pittsburgh’s offense seemed capable of breaking numerous records, and despite two disappointing losses, that still seems possible thanks to having superstars like Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown. With the New England Patriots coming to town as Tom Brady continues to play with a vengeance following his return from suspension, the Steelers may need to score at least 30 points if they’re going to have any chance in this one.

As good as Bell and Brown are, the true deciding factor in this one will come down to the play of Jones at quarterback. There may have been doubts over him in the preseason, but if Jones can figure out a way to shine against the Patriots defense, the Steelers may actually have a shot at holding on to their division lead until Big Ben is healthy enough to return.

    2. Seahawks vs. Cardinals

Division rivals always make for exciting football. And whenever the Seattle Seahawks square off against the Arizona Cardinals, football fans know they’re going to be in for a treat.

The best part about this rival between the Seahawks and Cardinals is both of these teams were considered one of the favorites to represent the NFC in the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season. While Arizona may have gotten off to a rough start, Bruce Arians and company have bounced back with two wins in a row to get back to .500 on the season. If the Cardinals can manage a win on Sunday, it would get them right back in the race for the NFC West title.

As for the Seahawks, this team is riding an impressive three game winning streak of their own after struggling to put up points over the first two games of the season. Even if this team is coming off a controversial finish against the Atlanta Falcons, Seattle still made a statement in Week 6 when it comes to being one of the top teams in the NFC.

The Seahawks may be sitting in the driver’s seat when it comes to controlling the division, but the Cardinals realize this is the perfect opportunity to make a statement.

      1. Texans vs. Broncos

When Peyton Manning decided to call it a career, the Denver Broncos felt confident enough that Osweiler would take over as the new starter when considering how much action the quarterback saw during the 2015 season. Instead, Osweiler decided to leave the Broncos for the Houston Texans, and rightfully so when looking at the ridiculous amount of money the organization was willing to pay him.

Now, Osweiler is set to square off against his former teammates while playing in the national spotlight on Monday Night Football. Nothing against the Texans quarterback, but this could turn ugly fast.

There’s nothing the Broncos’ defense would love more than to cause all sorts of problems for Osweiler in his return to Denver, and if playing against their former teammate wasn’t already enough motivation, this team will be even more anxious to win following back-to-back losses.

Up until the final three minutes of their Week 6 win against the Indianapolis Colts, Osweiler and the rest of the Texans’ offense looked absolutely terrible as it was even too painful to watch. If Houston looked that bad on offense against one of the league’s worst defenses in Indianapolis, just imagine what could be in store for Monday’s game against a top-ranked defense in Denver.
