NFL Week 4 Odds: Steelers, who get Le'Veon Bell back, favored vs. Chiefs on Sunday night

The Pittsburgh Steelers (2–1) know they will have running back Le’Veon Bell back from a three-game suspension when they play the Kansas City Chiefs (2–1) on Sunday night as consensus 5.5-point home favorites at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Meanwhile, Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles remains limited at practice this week following ACL surgery and is considered questionable to be able to make his season debut in Week 4.

Regardless, whichever team has the stronger running game in this matchup will likely be the winning team in a series that has been fairly close recently. Three of the past four meetings between the teams have been decided by four points or less, according to the OddsShark NFL Database, with the Chiefs covering four of five.

The Steelers are coming off their first loss, falling flat offensively in a 34–3 rout at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles last Sunday. Pittsburgh closed as a four-point road favorite and never got anything going with backup running back DeAngelo Williams totaling only 21 yards on eight carries and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger held to a season-low 257 yards with no touchdowns and one interception.

Meanwhile, Kansas City shut down the New York Jets 24–3 as three-point home chalk, forcing eight(!) turnovers and returning two for touchdowns to rebound from a 19–12 Week 2 road loss to the Houston Texans.

Earlier on Sunday, the Denver Broncos (3–0) will try to stay perfect when they visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1–2) as three-point road favorites. The Broncos have won the past three meetings with the Buccaneers, and they are 7–2 straight up in their previous nine road games. Tampa Bay is also just 1–6 straight up in its last seven versus the AFC.

And the New Orleans Saints (0–3) will be going for their first victory when they visit the San Diego Chargers (1–2) as four-point road underdogs in another late-afternoon game.

The Saints turned in a dismal defensive performance in a 45–32 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in the Week 3 Monday night matchup as 2.5-point home favorites, but quarterback Drew Brees should be very motivated to beat his former team here. New Orleans has gone 3–1 straight up and against the spread in the past four meetings with San Diego.
