Richard Sherman and his fiancee welcome a newborn daughter to the world

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman and fiancee Ashley Moss welcomed their second child, a daughter named Avery, into the world on April 16, and the little girl is already rocking some impressive jewelry.

Moss announced the new arrival on Instagram Monday and showed little Avery wearing an amethyst ring surrounded by diamonds which Sherman gifted to Moss in honor of the newborn's birth. The ring's personal engravings make the gift a heartfelt gesture.

Nothing makes a baby's hand look quite as tiny as a huge ring.

The couple also have a 14-month-old son, Rayden, who was born on Feb. 5, 2015. In an odd coincidence, Rayden's birthdate, 2/5, matches Sherman's jersey number (No. 25).

Sherman announced Avery's arrival on Twitter the day after she was born. He hasn't posted any pictures of his new daughter on his own social media accounts just yet.
