Linebacker Quinton Coples will make his regular-season debut for
the New York Jets on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, a month
after having surgery on a fractured ankle.
Coples, listed as probable on the team’s injury report Friday,
hurt his right ankle against Jacksonville on Aug. 17 and had
surgery to repair a hairline fracture three days later.
He was originally listed as being out indefinitely, but Coples
practiced for the first time Wednesday, and the ankle responded
