New Orleans Saints spending the bulk of pre-draft visits on defense

Every NFL team is allowed 30 pre-draft visits, but there are only 18 known players who have made the trip to the Big Easy. Of those 18, a whopping 13 are apparently defensive players, according to Evan Woodbery of Nola.com.

While the New Orleans Saints could go many different directions with their two round one picks, it's likely that they'll use at least one of those picks on defense. As for the other pick? Well, that could be another weapon for Drew Brees, or possibly even another player to bolster their defense in 2015.

The actual list of prospects who have visited New Orleans include some intriguing names. Players such as Eric Kendricks, Benardrick McKinney, Marcus Peters, Eric Rowe, Randy Gregory, Eli Harold and Owamagbe Odighizuwa make up a portion of the defensive list.

As for the few offensive prospects, you'll find two intriguing receivers in DeVante Parker and Phillip Dorsett, some offensive line help in Jake Fisher and T.J. Clemmings, as well as running back Matt Jones.
