Greg Jennings isn't messing around in his attempt to return to Vikings

Published Apr. 6, 2016 4:34 p.m. ET

Greg Jennings spent only two of his 10 years in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, but the veteran wideout wants to return to Minnesota so badly that he's taken matters into his own hands.

"I left [G.M.] Rick [Spielman] a voicemail," Jennings told KFAN on Wednesday. "I told [them], I'm waiting on you guys."

The Vikings cut Jennings after the 2014 season to save on salary cap space, and he eventually signed with the Dolphins. But now Jennings wants a return trip to Minnesota.

"I miss being [in Minnesota]," he said. "You appreciate something more when it's taken away from you."

Jennings didn't see much action in Miami despite playing in all 16 games. He finished with a career-low 19 receptions for 208 yards and one touchdown in 2015.
