For longtime fans of the Miami Dolphins, their stadium will always be known as Joe Robbie Stadium. But in recent years the stadium's name has bounce around more frequently than a ping-pong ball.

According to the Miami New Times, the stadium's latest moniker will be New Miami Stadium. Really rolls off the tongue, right?

Since its inception in 1987, the Dolphins have changed the stadium's name seven times. Joe Robbie Stadium lasted from 1987-1996. Pro Player Park had a one-year run in 1996. Then Pro Player Stadium went from 1996-2005 and made way for Dolphin Stadium from 2006-2009. A two-year run for Land Shark Stadium (2009-2010) preceded Sun Life Stadium, which went from 2010-2016.

Dolphins' stadium naming rights, a tradition like no other.
