Miami Dolphins have a lengthy injury report

The Miami Dolphins released their injury report on Friday afternoon ahead of their game in San Diego this Sunday.

The list of names for the Dolphins is a rather long one and some of the names could give the team trouble if they are ruled out on Sunday. While the list has more than a few names, only rookie corner Xavien Howard is listed as out officially.

The list starts with Jermon Bushrod who has been playing better the last couple of weeks at right guard. He has a shoulder injury. Safety Isa Abdul-Quddus has an ankle issue as does TE MarQueis Gray who made an impact last week against the Jets.

The bigger issue is with the wide-receiver spot. Jarvis Landry has a shoulder issue that has kept him from practicing and Kenny Stills has missed time with a calf injury although he is expected to play. Rookie receiver Leonte Carroo has a knee issue. Maybe this week will see the emergence or re-emergence of DeVante Parker, that is is you can say he has ever actually “emerged”

Rounding out the rest of the banged up Phins are Chris Culliver with a knee injury but he has been told he will likely see the field, guard Anthony Steen (neck), Jelani Jenkins has a broken hand but is reportedly going to try to play with a wrap, and finally Dion Sims who has not been cleared fully from the concussion protocol.

On the San Diego side, the Chargers have ruled WR Jeremy Butler out along with LB Jatavis Brown and LB Denzel Perryman. Safety Jahleel Addae and WR Travis Benjamin are also unlikely to play as they are listed as doubtful. Guard Orlando Franklin, TE Hunter Henry, CB Craig Mager, and WR Tyrell Williams are all questionable.
